  1. What is an affiliate program and how does it work?
    Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses (merchants/advertisers) in which an affiliate (publisher) is rewarded for every qualified sale provided through his/her efforts. For more info, visit this link at wikipedia.

  2. How do I get started?
    Sign-up here to get started. You will be required to fill out questions about your website and company and you will need to agree to the legal terms before you can create an affiliate account.

  3. Who can participate?
    Any valid business within the country list we ship to can participate in our affiliate program. Businesses in the U.S. must have a valid Tax ID (SSN/EIN) and submit a W-9 form.

  5. How are sales tracked from my site?
    This is simple. When a user clicks from your site through a banner or link to the JINX.com website, the user gets cookied (read up on cookies). This cookie is set for 60 days. If the user orders within 60 days, you earn commission. Every time a user clicks through from your banner/link, the cookie's expiration date is refreshed for another 60 days.

  6. Where can I see my sales reports?
    Sales reports are available within a link from your affiliate home page. This page is made available to you after you create an affiliate account at J!NX.

  7. How much will I earn?
    You can earn as much as you want; the limit is endless. We have a 4 tier program available for our affiliates that range from 17% to 20%. New affiliates start out at 17% commission. If you earn more or less than a certain amount listed by your current tier, your commission percentage can increase or decrease (see table below for more details). Commission percentages are adjusted monthly based on the previous month's sales. Commission is earned off of the product sub-total (excluding tax and shipping).

    $0 to $1,000   17%
    $1,001 to $2,500   18%
    $2,501 to $5,000   19%
    $5,001 or more   20%

  8. How and when do I get paid?
    We do payouts on a monthly basis at the end of each month for the previous month's earnings. No payments are made until your commission earned reaches $50.00 or more. All of our payments are made via PayPal in USD. You MUST provide a valid email address in order for us to send you payments. If you are a U.S. company, you must submit your W-9 before any payments are made.

  9. I'm signed up, now what?
    1. Login to your affiliate home page.
    2. Go get banners or links you think would work best on your web site or newsletter.
    3. Put the banners/links on your website and/or promote them through newsletter to your customers.
    4. Test to make sure your banners or links are working properly by clicking on them. If they do not go to JINX.com, the link was most likely copied incorrectly.

    We do not have a tool available at this time to create custom links. However, if you know anything about HTML, this is a fairly easy process to do. If you need further assistance, please contact us.
