  1. What happened to all of the slim fit shirts?
    Back in the day, we had a type of shirt that we called Slim Fit. In July 2008, we changed the name of all Slim Fit shirts to Fitted shirts. Unless discontinued, they're all still here.

  2. The item I want is Out of Stock! When will you have it again?
    It usually takes 3-4 weeks fore items to be restocked, but that time can change depending on the time of year, our demand, and other projects that we're working on. You can use the 'Restock Me' function on the item page to be notified via email once the stock gets back in.

  3. There are about 4 shirts that I would gladly buy if they weren't ALL IN BLACK .. AHHHH! Not every gamer, geek, hacker, is goth. How about some oranges, yellows, and blues?
    We offer several designs in other colors. Maroon, White, Navy, Forest Green, Charcoal, just to name a few. Most of the designs we carry are in black because that's what most of our customers want (currently). We are doing our best to release more colors though, so keep checking in for new designs, as we frequently have new releases in various colors.

  4. Can you help me hack into a computer/system/database/international mainframe?
    Although we do fully support responsible hacking and a non-malicious interest in security of all forms, we do not support illegal hacking, virus writing, or anything else that is against the law or annoying to people in general. We do not provide these services or tips in these fields. We recommend visiting our brand partners, who are happy to share this type of information.

  5. Can you guys print a custom shirt for me?
    We do not do customized shirts. However, there are plenty of places on the internet that offer those services.

  6. Can I get this shirt in a size/style other than what's offered on the site?
    As of now, we can only offer what is on the site, and we do not offer any custom printing. However, as interest in any particular line grows, we can expand into those areas. For this to happen, the word about Jinx has to get out there. That means telling everyone you know (as well as everyone you don't) about JINX.COM. When any particular design does well in our basic sizes, then we can offer them in others. Post a comment on the shirt you are interested in. We check all the feedback!

    All product ideas should be submitted to our Submit an Idea! page found in the Community section of the J!NX website. That will give you all of the information you need to submit (and get credit for) your idea.

  8. You guys stole my idea! I submitted that idea 2 months ago and you never paid me for it!
    Whenever we release new designs, it is very common for us to receive two or three emails on certain ideas stating that they had submitted the idea and were not paid. However, our practice is to only pay the first person that submits an idea. This is clearly laid out in the rules. If you were not notified, you were not the first person to submit the idea. We receive hundreds of idea submissions daily. Please know that we take this matter seriously and have always paid submitters in an ethical and fair manner.

  9. Idea Submission Policy and Agreement
    Artwork for t-shirts and other items sold by J!NX, Inc. or its partners, affiliates, or agents (collectively, “J!NX”) comes from a variety of sources, including J!NX, its employees, affiliates, licensees, and other third parties.  J!NX also accepts submissions from customers and the public, but only pursuant to the terms set forth in this agreement.  J!NX WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY SUBMISSION UNLESS THE SUBMITTER EXPRESSLY AGREES TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. 

    The person below (the "Submitter") desires to submit artwork or other creative content (the "Material") to J!NX to evaluate and review. The parties understand and acknowledge as follows:

    1. J!NX is continuously engaged in active research and development programs that may have content, ideas, functions, features, or other aspects that are similar or identical to the content, ideas, functions, features, or other aspects of the Material.

    2. Other persons, including J!NX, its employees, affiliates, licensees or other third parties may have originated or submitted to J!NX or to others, or may in the future originate and submit, material that is similar or identical to the Material. It is agreed the Submitter will receive compensation under this Agreement only if J!NX uses the Material exclusively because of the Submitter’s submission of the Material.    

    3. Submitter agrees that J!NX assumes no obligation to (i) return the submitted Material, (ii) compensate the Submitter in any way for the non-commercial use of the Material, (iii) proceed with negotiations of any kind respecting the Material, or (iv) furnish Submitter with any information respecting the results of J!NX's evaluation or its reasons for not proceeding further.

    4. J!NX does not invite, nor will it knowingly accept any submission if the submitted Material or any information contained in the Material is considered by Submitter or a third party to be confidential, private, or proprietary.  Thus, the Submitter expressly warrants that any submission of Material is not confidential, private, or proprietary.  In the event any third party makes any claim against J!NX relating to its possession, use, or transfer of the Material, Submitter agrees to defend and indemnify J!NX against such claims.  The Submitter expressly waives and releases any claim that it could have against J!NX for J!NX’s possession, use, or transfer of the Material.

    5. J!NX is not liable for the loss or destruction of the Material.  Submitter expressly warrants that it has retained at least one copy of the Material, and hereby releases J!NX from any and all liability for loss of or damage to the copy or copies of the Material it submits to J!NX.

    6. J!NX does not invite, nor will it knowingly accept any submission from anyone who does not have full and exclusive rights to the Material.  Submitter expressly represents and warrants that the material is original with Submitter; that Submitter is the sole owner of the Material; that Submitter has the exclusive right to submit the Material to J!NX, and that Submitter has the power and authority to grant J!NX any and all rights in the Material.

    7.  Submitter expressly represents and warrants that it has not submitted the Material, nor any similar material to any other party.  Submitter grants J!NX the sole and exclusive right to consider the Material for use.  In the event Submitter wishes to revoke J!NX’s exclusivity in this regard, or wishes to submit the Material to anyone else, it will inform J!NX in writing.

    8.  Submitter agrees that Submitter will not disclose the fact that it has submitted the Material to J!NX, or in any way use J!NX’s consideration of the Material.

    9.  Submitter hereby acknowledges and agrees that there are no prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements in effect between Submitter and J!NX pertaining to the Material submitted hereunder or any other material. This written agreement is the sole expression of the relationship between J!NX and Submitter.  Any modification to this agreement must be done in writing.  Submitter agrees that no oral representations of any kind have been made to Submitter.

    10. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating any obligation or an expectation on the part of either party to enter into a business relationship with the other party, or an obligation to refrain from entering into a business relationship with any third party.  Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed as creating a joint venture, partnership or employment relationship between J!NX and Submitter.  Both J!NX and Submitter understand and agree that J!NX and Submitter are independent contractors vis-à-vis one another. Except as specified herein, no party shall have the right, power or implied authority to create any obligation or duty, express or implied, on behalf of any other party hereto.

    11. The formation, interpretation and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of law rules, and any action relating to this Agreement or its enforcement shall only be brought in a state or federal court in San Diego, California. In the event that any provision hereof is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.

    12. Submitter certifies that Submitter has read this Agreement and that Submitter understands it. SUBMITTER UNDERSTANDS THAT J!NX IS RELYING UPON THIS AGREEMENT IN AGREEING TO ACCEPT SUBMITTER'S SUBMISSION OF THE MATERIAL AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT SUBMITTER'S MATERIAL WITHOUT IT.

  10. Photo Submission Policy and Agreement
    J!NX welcomes and accepts Photo submissions from customers and the public, and offers rewards and coupons in exchange for some such submissions, but only pursuant to the terms set forth in this agreement. J!NX WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY SUBMISSION UNLESS THE SUBMITTER EXPRESSLY AGREES TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

    The person below (the "Submitter") desires to submit a photograph (the "Photo") to J!NX for J!NX to possibly use and display in its advertising, marketing, or other efforts.

    The parties understand and acknowledge as follows:

    1. J!NX is under no obligation to accept or use any Photo, in any way.

    2. J!NX absolutely prohibits the submission of the following photos: Images that are copyrighted or trademarked, Advertisements, Photos with any contact information (URL, Phone #s, E-Mail, Names, Addresses, etc.), text messages, photos taken from other websites, or any other content that is obscene, private, confidential, or proprietary. By submitting a Photo, Submitter is representing to J!NX, and assuming sole responsibility that the Photos are Submitter’s sole and original work, and that nobody else has the rights to use the Photo.

    3. J!NX does not invite, nor will it knowingly accept any submission if the submitted Photo or any information contained in the Photo is considered by Submitter or a third party to be confidential, private, or proprietary. Thus, the Submitter expressly warrants that any submission of Photo is not confidential, private, or proprietary. In the event any third party makes any claim against J!NX relating to its possession, use, or transfer of the Photo, Submitter agrees to defend and indemnify J!NX against such claims. The Submitter expressly waives and releases any claim that it could have against J!NX for J!NX’s possession, use, or transfer of the Photo.

    4. J!NX is not liable for the loss or destruction of the Photo. Submitter expressly warrants that it has retained at least one copy of the Photo, and hereby releases J!NX from any and all liability for loss of or damage to the copy or copies of the Photo it submits to J!NX.

    5. By submitting a Photo to J!NX, Submitter is irrevocably assigning to J!NX (and only J!NX) ALL rights to the submitted Photos, without any further compensation. J!NX will own all submitted Photos, and can do whatever they want with the Photos.

    6. By submitting a Photo to J!NX, Submitter is giving J!NX the irrevocable right to use the Photo, and Submitter’s likeness and identity to promote or publicize J!NX's products.

    7. Submitter expressly represents and warrants that it has not submitted the Photo, nor any similar Photo to any other party.

    8. Photo Guidelines: Submitted Photos must clearly show some article of J!NX clothing. Photos must show Submitter’s face, and CANNOT be blurred out or censored in any way. Photos cannot visibly show any other brands, logos, or any copyrighted content. Photo WIDTH and HEIGHT must be equal to 371 pixels. Maximum file size is 500 KB, and J!NX only accepts JPEG files.

    9. J!NX will review each submitted Photo before it is made available to the public. J!NX reserves the right to reject, edit or modify any photos submitted to J!NX, for any reason. Submitter will NOT be notified if his or her Photo was denied.

    10. Submitter hereby acknowledges and agrees that there are no prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements in effect between Submitter and J!NX pertaining to the Photo submitted hereunder or any other material. This written agreement is the sole expression of the relationship between J!NX and Submitter. Any modification to this agreement must be done in writing. Submitter agrees that no oral representations of any kind have been made to Submitter.

    11.   11. Feedback Rules
    We welcome all opinions, good or bad. We do, however, go through every single post and approve before it appears on the site. This is to ensure that nothing posted is malicious toward anyone else's post or picture, so don't bother submitting anything like that. Otherwise, be as honest as you can about the designs, the shirts, even the site as a whole :-)

  12. Photo Tweakfest Submission Guidelines
    1. All submissions must be in .jpg format at 500x500 pixels.
    2. All contest times and dates are based on Pacific Time.
    3. You may submit as many unique entries as you like, and any can win, however you will only receive Finalist Credit for one submission. Duplicate submissions will be removed.
    4. The top finalists will be chosen by the J!NX staff based on creativity and image-editing skill.
    5. Once open voting commences, all J!NX registered members may rank submissions on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being the highest, 1 being the lowest.
    6. Each J!NX registered member may only rank each submission once.
    7. At the end of the voting period, the entry with the highest average score will be selected as the winner. In the case of a tie, the winning entry will be decided by the highest total score.
    8. Effective October 1, 2008: The winner of any contest will not be eligible to enter a submission into subsequent contests that start within 60 days following the announcement of the previous winning entry. After that period, submission will again be accepted for subsequent contests.
    9. Be creative.

  13. Jinx Photo Tweakfest Contest - Official Rules
    1. Eligibility.

    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Only having a registered account with Jinx.com and having access to the World Wide Web as of the Starting Date of the Contest (as stated on the Entry Form at Jinx.com), are eligible to enter the J!NX Photo Tweakfest Contest (the "Contest"). Contestants ages 13-18 may be required to have their parent or guardian's permission to enter as described below. By entering the Contest, entrants are representing that they are eligible to participate in the Contest, under the laws of California and their jurisdiction. Employees, agents or officers of Jinx, Inc. or of any entity involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of the Contest, including any advertising or promotion agency, supplier of prizes for the Contest, parent company, service provider, subsidiary or affiliate of any such entity or any other entity directly associated with the Contest (hereinafter the "Contest Entities") or any member of the immediate family of and/or person living in the same household as such persons, are ineligible to enter the Contest.

    2. Entries.

    1. To enter the Contest you must complete an Entry Form on the Jinx.com website, and submit it electronically to J!NX. Submission of an Entry Form and Photo constitutes acceptance of and agreement to these Official Rules. No mail, fax, or other submissions will be accepted. Entries are void if they contain typographical or other errors. Entries that are mutilated, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void.

    2. Each Entry Form must be accompanied by One (1) electronic image file that is 500x500 pixels in JPG/JPEG format that contains an electronically-edited modification of one of the approved Source Images downloadable at Jinx.com. Such validly and properly submitted Photo accompanied by a completed Entry Form is hereinafter referred to as an “Entry.”

    3. Each Photo submission must be wholly original and created entirely by you, and must not incorporate or include anything that is owned by any third party or would require the consent of any third party. Your submission must not violate any law or the copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right or any other right of any third party.

    4. A Photo submission shall be void if it includes any endorsements or identifiable trademarks or copyrights other than those contained in the Source Image, if it infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party. A Photo submission shall be void if it includes any material that is inappropriate for display on J!NX’s website, including but not limited to profanity, violence or nudity, patently offensive content (in J!NX’s sole determination), or which, in the judgment of J!NX or its attorneys, might subject J!NX or J!NX’s licensees to unfavorable regulatory action, violate any law, infringe the rights of any Person, or subject J!NX or J!NX's Licensees to liability for any reason.

    5. All Entries and Photos must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the Submission Deadline (as stated on the Entry Form at Jinx.com). Members may enter as often as they like. J!NX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entries that it determines, in its sole discretion, to have been generated or entered by non-human means, such as by a software script, robot, or other means.

    6. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. J!NX and those working for J!NX or on the behalf of J!NX, will not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected or damaged submissions or e-mail, or for Internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays.

    7. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

    3. Our Right to Use Your Work and Information About You.

    1. Entries, Photos, and other submitted material become the property of J!NX and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting an Entry: (a) you represent and warrant that your Entry is wholly original and does not incorporate or include anything that is owned by any third party or would require the consent of any third party and your Entry does not violate any copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right or any other right of any third party; (b) you agree that your Entry shall be a “work made for hire,” with all rights therein, including, without limitation, the exclusive copyright, being the property of J!NX; and (c) in the event your Entry is considered not to be a “work made for hire,” you irrevocably assign to J!NX all right, title, and interest in your Entry (including, without limitation, the copyright) in any and all media whether now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, anywhere in the world, with the right to make any and all uses thereof, including, without limitation, for purposes of advertising or trade.

    2. By submitting an Entry, you grant to J!NX and its affiliated companies the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name, likeness, picture, address (city and state), voice, submission/Entry and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing J!NX and its products or services, without compensation unless required by law. You shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of your name, picture, likeness, address (city and state), or entry. The rights granted under this paragraph shall extend to J!NX and its affiliated companies with respect to all entrants in the Contest, including those entrants who are selected as Winners and those entrants who are not selected as Winners. J!NX is under no obligation to use the winning Entries for any purpose.

    3. The information that you provide in connection with the Contest may be used for J!NX’s internal purposes, to monitor and ensure the fairness and validity of the Contest, and to send you any prize won, but will not be provided to third parties without your consent, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest or as required by law or legal process.

    4. Selection of Winner(s)/Prize(s).

    1. Winners will be determined in a two-part process:

      1. In the first part of the selection process, all valid Entries will be judged by J!NX on the basis and percentages of the following criteria: creativity (50%), image editing skill (50%). A “Qualified Entry” is an Entry that receives a minimum score of at least 70 out of a possible 100. The decision of the judge shall be final and binding in all regards.

      2. Subject to receipt of a sufficient number of Qualified Entries, J!NX will post the forty (40) highest-scoring Qualified Entries in the “Community” section of Jinx.com, on the Voting Start Date (as stated on the Entry Form at Jinx.com). (The number of entrants could vary significantly based upon the contest, but J!NX anticipates the number will usually be between 40-100.) These 40 Qualified Entries will be called “Finalists.” In the second part of the selection process, registered members at Jinx.com may vote on the Finalists. Voters may assign each Finalist a whole number score of 1 to 5 points. Voters may vote for some or all of the Finalists. Each registered member may vote for each Finalist only once, though registered members may change their votes at any time until the end of the Voting Period. The Finalist receiving the highest AVERAGE point total will be the Winner of the Contest. In the case of a tie, the winning entry, of the tying entries, will be decided by the highest total points received for that entry.

    2. J!NX will take efforts to assure the fairness and integrity of the voting process for all entrants. J!NX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any votes that it determines, in its sole discretion, to have been cast by fraudulent means or in an attempt to unfairly influence the outcome of the voting, including but not limited to the registration of multiple member accounts by the same person, or that are generated or entered by non-human means, such as by a software script, robot, or other means. J!NX will maintain certain identifying information regarding voters, including the member account name and IP address of the computer from which the votes were cast. J!NX will maintain this information solely for the purposes of maintaining the integrity of the voting process, and will not be provided to third parties without your consent, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest or as required by law or legal process. J!NX will also use “cookies” to help eliminate multiple votes from the same individual.

    3. The Winner will be notified by telephone, mail, and/or email, and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility within sixty (60) days of notification. The information in each Winner’s Affidavit of Eligibility must be correct and must be identical to the information provided in Winner's Entry or the Winner will be disqualified. If a Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, fails to return the completed and executed documents required above, if a prize is returned as undeliverable or if a Winner fails to comply with any of the provisions of these rules, such Winner's prize will be forfeited.

    4. The Winner will receive 10,000 in J!NX gold for use at Jinx.com and 500 EXP points. The estimated retail value of said prize is $100.00. Second place (first runner-up) shall receive 500 in J!NX gold and 500 EXP points (approximate retail value of this prize: $5.00). Third place (second runner-up) shall receive 250 in J!NX gold and 250 EXP points (approximate retail value of total prize: $2.50). Fourth place (third runner-up) shall receive 100 in J!NX gold and 100 EXP points (approximate retail value: $1.00). In its discretion, J!NX may also award 100 J!NX gold and 100 EXP points (approximate retail value: $1.00) to an entry of their choice as a “J!NX Crew Award” and 5 EXP (no retail value) to an entry of their choice for the “WTF Award.” For both the “J!NX Crew Award” and the “WTF Award,” if provided, the selection process for the winner will be in the sole discretion of J!NX, and the winner will be decided by one or more J!NX employees.
      NOTE: the use of J!NX Gold and EXP points are subject to the terms and conditions of use posted on the Jinx.com website.
      Taxes, fees and all other charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of Winner. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks for prize delivery. J!NX may, but is under no obligation to use the Finalists’ or Winner’s Entries for any purpose.

    5. By accepting the prize, the Winner releases and discharges J!NX, affiliated companies and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from any liability or damage due in whole or in part to the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or from participation in this Contest. Prizes awarded in J!NX Gold are not redeemable for cash or substitutable for any other item by winners. J!NX reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value for any prize, or to pay winners a cash equivalent (the value of which shall be determined by J!NX in its sole discretion), for any reason.

    6. If, for reasons beyond J!NX’s control (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection), the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, J!NX, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest, without liability.

    7. All taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes) are the sole responsibility of winners. Prize winners (and parent(s) or guardian(s) of prize winners under 18) may be required to execute (and have notarized) an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and Copyright Ownership Agreement, and/or a Publicity Release (the "Affidavit/Release") which must be returned to and received by Sponsor within sixty (60) days from winner’s receipt of the Affidavit/Release. Winners may also be required to send a copy of their passport, driver’s license or birth certificate as proof of age and residency. Non-compliance with any of these requirements may result in disqualification, in which case an alternate winner may be chosen. Return of prize, prize notification, Affidavit/Release as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest and any person who does not comply with these Official Rules, will be ineligible for any prize(s) and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

    5. Issues of Law.

    All Federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. THE CALIFORNIA COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE CONTEST AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SHALL GOVERN THE CONTEST. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMIT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. The Contest is void where restricted or prohibited by law.

    6. Your Release of J!NX From Any and All Liability.

    1. ELIGIBILITY.

    NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. Only persons having a registered account with Jinx.com and Twitter.com and having access to the World Wide Web as of the Starting Date of the Contest (April 3, 2009), are eligible to enter the Twitter Trivia Contest. Persons under the age of 13 may not enter this sweepstakes, such entries will be disregarded. Contestants ages 13-18 may be required to have their parent or guardian's permission in order to receive a prize. By entering the Contest, entrants are representing that they are eligible to participate in the Contest, under the laws of California and their jurisdiction.
